The City of Angels experienced widespread festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined local residents in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Local celebrations included a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
