In a commanding display, the English national team secured a further victory against Albania, featuring a number of players producing notable performances on the pitch.

Starting Lineup

Dean Henderson Was rarely tested to make in the first half until called into action from Arbër Hoxha’s curling effort. A sliding tackle on an Albanian attacker showed sharp game intelligence. 6/10

Jarell Quansah Challenged against the opposition's biggest threat in Hoxha. Started through the middle to begin with then shifted out wide after a teammate entered the fray. 7/10

The defender Pushed into midfield on the ball, something he's known for in the past. On occasion seemed hesitant when carrying play and the experiment abandoned after the break. Six

Dan Burn A constant threat from dead balls, as always, perhaps is another option for his teammate at the back rather than his partner. One wayward distribution later in the match came close to the first goal from the visitors. 6

Nico O’Reilly Another composed performance by the 20-year-old following his first cap against another side. Saka was unable to take the opportunity from an exquisite backheel over the Albania defence. The role is firmly his at this stage. Seven

Adam Wharton A debut start in an England shirt. Somewhat sloppy on the ball however his inswinging set-pieces caused problems. An effective pace-controller for the boss to call upon against defensive opponents. Shown a yellow for a poorly timed challenge. 6/10

Declan Rice Set-pieces from dead balls and free-kicks were dangerous. Had room to move down the left flank only to be offside when the ball arrived in front of goal. Granted a well-earned break after an hour. 6/10

Jude Bellingham Operated in an advanced position out wide while also contributed with defensive duties. Displayed moments of class and mishit an effort high. Replaced in the closing stages by a teammate, his rival, after receiving a caution. 7

The winger Had the team's top opening in the opening period, his shot excellently kept out by the Albanian keeper. As a teammate staying deep, he was forced to stretch the play out wide yet his deliveries into the box varied in quality. Replaced late in the match. 6

The captain The difference-maker with his two more strikes in an England shirt. His first a typical close-range tap-in while the second a classy finish with his head having drifted away from his marker. At 32, his form is unwavering and England are strong contenders next summer with him up top. 8

Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to influence play out wide. Had a decent opportunity when set up from a teammate but the keeper made the save. His replacement produced a bigger an impact after coming on. 5

• Foden (replacing Rice on 63 minutes) Looked lively connecting effectively with Kane in a natural spot, 6/10
• Bukayo Saka (on for Eze 63) Missed opportunities although his set-piece led to the opener, 6/10
• Rashford (replacing the attacker with 15 left) Active after coming on and provided the captain's brace with superb cross into the area, 7
• Elliot Anderson (for the midfielder 75) Seems settled already, 6
• Rogers (replacing Bellingham with minutes remaining) Too brief a spell to make an impact, 6/10
