Loyal fans of the pop star are demanding that a person who jumped a barrier and grabbed the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be detained or deported from Singapore.

A circulating clip reveals the person identified as Johnson Wen shoving aside photographers and charging at Grande while the actors walked down a event pathway flanked by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records showed that he was set to attend court on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a performance. His Instagram feed contains recordings of him interrupting other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney show in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last December.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is obviously a punishable act," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user remarked.

Followers Voice Worry Over Grande's Past Trauma

Numerous followers accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed experiencing PTSD after a devastating incident at the finale of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote a further response on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted guards at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while some called for social media platforms to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Aftermath and Event Details

In videos circulating online, Grande seemed startled when she was touched by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Many of Singapore fans had waited to see the performers of Wicked

Numerous of attendees had assembled in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including a number who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be launched on the 21st of November, is the second of a two-part version of the well-known stage production Wicked, which centers on the surprising friendship between two distinct sorceresses.

The production itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning movie of last year in the UK, and earned 10 Oscar nominations, earning two for excellent wardrobe and production design.
